I just listened to this Audio Book, and after a slow start he had some good things to say about how to go about networking. I agree with his main point, which is that the best way to think about networking is to focus on being helpful to others, rather than on what you can get out of it. People will respond to you more readily if you make it clear that you are there to offer assistance.
Job seekers are told endlessly that the best job search technique is networking, but this book has lots of ideas about how to go about it. How to get over shyness and how to get over any hesitancy about asking for something.
This book is recommended for those looking to advance their career as well as find a job.
